We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Religious Studies Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham from September 2025. This is a full-time supply position with full teaching responsibilities, offering an excellent daily rate of £175 – £250 depending on experience.

The Role
You will be teaching Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that inspire pupils to explore ethics, philosophy, and world religions. This role involves the full teaching cycle, including planning lessons, marking assessments, and contributing to the wider school ethos. You’ll be expected to create a supportive learning environment that encourages students to think critically and develop their understanding of different beliefs and values.
The Candidate
The school is looking for a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies. You should be confident managing classroom behaviour, committed to delivering high-quality lessons, and able to adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all learners. Previous experience teaching RS to GCSE level is highly desirable. Enthusiasm, organisation, and excellent communication skills will be key to your success in this role.
