Hours: Monday–Thursday (Full Days)

Rate: £130–£200 per day (DOE)

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver highly individualised, sensory-based learning
  • Adapt teaching to meet complex and profound learning needs
  • Lead and support a small team of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)
  • Work closely with therapists and external professionals
  • Support pupils in achieving EHCP targets and developmental milestones
  • Create a safe, calm, structured, and engaging learning environment

Working pattern

Monday to Thursday Full day teaching commitment Maternity cover starting September

Requirements

  • Experience working with PMLD or pupils with complex needs
  • Confidence leading a small team within the classroom
  • A calm, patient, and highly adaptable teaching style
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience working with multi‑agency professionals
  • QTS/QTLS
