Are you a passionate and dedicated Humanities teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a supportive secondary school? We are seeking a Humanities teacher to join a well-established school in the Newcastle area. The role is to begin as soon as possible and is on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate will have a specialism in Geography but the school is open to all Humanities applications as well.

The Role

  • Teaching Humanities to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
  • Assessing and tracking student progress
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or relevant qualification
  • Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
