The Role
You\’ll be teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that promote high standards of literacy and communication. You’ll be expected to plan, mark and assess in line with the department’s standards, and contribute to the wider life of the school. There is a strong focus on student progress, and you’ll play a key role in helping pupils achieve their potential.

The Candidate
We’re looking for a passionate and knowledgeable English teacher with:
QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching English at secondary level
Strong classroom management and planning skills
A commitment to inclusive, high-quality education
A proactive, professional attitude and willingness to contribute to the department
NQTs/ECTs with relevant placements are also encouraged to apply.
