Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Leeds • Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire • Salary: £120 – £155 per day • Contract Type: Flexible day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements • Start Date: Immediate / Ongoing • Agency: The Education Network

The Education Network is recruiting enthusiastic and committed Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work across a range of primary and secondary schools throughout Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for newly qualified teachers to gain valuable classroom experience, build confidence, and secure long-term teaching opportunities with the support of an experienced education agency.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and progress
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
  • Building strong professional relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents

About You

  • Qualified with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or due to qualify soon
  • Passionate about teaching and making a positive difference to pupils’ learning
  • Flexible, proactive, and eager to develop their teaching practice
  • Confident in classroom management and adapting to new environments
  • Committed to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
