We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Teaching Assistant to support pupils with social, emotional, and learning needs in a SEMH/SEN setting. You’ll work closely with teachers to help pupils engage, regulate emotions, and achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support learning and classroom engagement
- Assist with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Implement individual support plans and EHCP guidance
- Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage independence
Requirements
- Experience with children/young people with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or additional needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm, patient, and adaptable
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and follow safeguarding procedures
- Experience working with children and young people with additional learning needs
- Experience in inclusive and special educational settings
