The Role

You will support the school’s data and admin function, ensuring records stay accurate and up to date. Your day will focus on entering and maintaining pupil data, updating attendance and behaviour logs, and supporting admissions and leavers processes. You will help prepare reports for staff and senior leaders, format documents for meetings, and keep digital files organised for audits. You will work closely with the Data Manager and school office, responding to queries, meeting deadlines tied to the data calendar, and following GDPR and safeguarding procedures at all times. This is a hands-on role designed to build strong foundations in school data before moving into a permanent post.

The Candidate & Requirements

  • You are organised, detail-focused and comfortable working with systems.
  • You pick things up quickly and take pride in getting information right first time.
  • Degree 2:2 or above in a data/ICT related subject.
  • Strong attention to detail with confident IT skills.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Clear written communication and professional approach to confidential data.
  • Experience in a school office or data role is desirable but not essential.
