A good SEND school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced School IT Technician to join their team and support the day‑to‑day running of the school’s IT systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a School IT Technician with previous school‑based experience who wants to work in a well‑resourced environment with excellent facilities. Job Role

  • Providing first‑line and second‑line IT support to staff and students
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software and network systems
  • Supporting classroom technology including interactive boards, laptops and tablets
  • Managing user accounts, permissions and access controls
  • Assisting with the installation and rollout of new hardware and software
  • Ensuring IT systems comply with safeguarding and data protection requirements
