The Education Network are seeking a dedicated Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and inclusive school in Bradford. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who require tailored support to thrive both academically and socially.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with complex needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, and SEMH
- Support pupils who have EHCPs and personalised learning plans
- Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and developing life skills
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and families
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
What weβre looking for
- Experience working with children or young people with complex needs (school-based or other settings)
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEND, Team Teach) are desirable but not essential
