Are you a patient and compassionate Teaching Assistant looking to support a young person who needs additional encouragement to engage with education? Do you have experience working with students who experience anxiety and barriers to learning? This school in South Birmingham is looking to appoint a dedicated 1-2-1 Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 4 female student.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide consistent, tailored support to help the student feel safe, confident and able to engage with lessons. You will build a strong, trusting relationship and support her both in and out of the classroom, helping to manage anxiety and gradually increase participation in learning. This role requires someone calm, understanding and resilient, with previous experience supporting young people, ideally within a school or similar setting.
