We’ve been specialists in this field for over 15 yrs and we work directly with mainstream, SEN schools as well as 8 education authorities and this is expanding at a rapid rate, specifically within the Warrington area. As such we are looking to build upon our current bank of approx. 70 1-1 Tutors that we have expanded over 14 + years; – currently tutoring on a 1-1 basis in local libraries, children’s centres, school and at times, students homes (if we deem the home as suitable). At present we have a high demand for 1-1 Tutors who can deliver core subject areas across various key stages, KS2 – KS4 Maths, English and/or Science (All key stages/subjects are not essential!) Most are KS3+ but at times working at a lower ability. Sessions are held throughout the school day, so approx. 9.30am-3pm and we offer lots of flexibility with timings and timetables. Many of the young people we support on a 1-1 basis have mild and moderate SEMH cnditions and varying reasons for not attending school. Many are disengaged, having not attended school for some time and as such can display challenging behaviour, or may have certain emotional barriers to learning. As a result, we are seeking nurturing Tutors with a patient, flexible and non judgemental approach. This can be a very rewarding role and suits professional and dedicated Tutors who are are seeking a part or full timetable to possibly work around another job, childcare, studies or simply just because you prefer to teach with more flexibility, on a 1-1 basis. Sessions are usually 1-2 hours per student and we are able to offer you as little or as many hours as you wish! To apply please submit your CV . Please note that sucessful applicants will need to have (or be willing to get) a enhanched DBS on the update service. We can help arrange this for you
