The Education Network is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in the Northumberland area. This is a part-time, ongoing opportunity, starting as soon as possible, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inspiring young learners and helping students achieve their full potential.
The Role
As a Maths Teacher, you will:
Teach Maths to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that challenge, motivate and inspire pupils.
Assess, monitor and track student progress to support achievement.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel supported and encouraged to learn.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the Science curriculum and share best practice. The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who has:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or another relevant teaching qualification accepted for this role.
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
A passion for engaging students of all abilities and supporting their academic progress.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Pay & Opportunity
Daily pay: £162.31–£251.71, depending on your current teacher pay scale.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Contract: Ongoing.
