We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a great secondary school in the South Tyneside area. The role is to begin as soon as possible and is on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to students
  • Assisting with learning activities in and outside the classroom
  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and learning difficulties
  • Encouraging engagement and confidence in learning

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people within the past 2 years
  • A patient, supportive, and positive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for education and student development
  • Fully enhanced DBS or a willingness to apply for one via ourselves
