We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Performing Arts Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Redcar and Cleveland on a supply basis from June 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and committed practitioner to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons in drama and/or performing arts. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering confidence, creativity, and a love of performance in young people.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality Performing Arts lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum expectations
- Contribute to school productions, performances, and enrichment opportunities
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports all learners
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Performing Arts in a secondary setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- A passion for the arts and student engagement
- The ability to work flexibly as part of a team
