The Education Network are currently recruiting for two reliable and hardworking Facilities Operatives to support the maintenance and upkeep of school premises across sites in Newcastle.
This is a full-time role working 5 days per week, offering the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidates.
The Role:
- Supporting the day-to-day maintenance of school buildings and grounds
- Carrying out basic repairs, maintenance and site checks
- Ensuring school premises remain safe, clean and secure
- Assisting with health and safety procedures across sites
- Travelling between 2 sites in Newcastle and 1 site in Sunderland
Requirements:
- Previous caretaking, facilities or maintenance experience preferred
- Must have own vehicle and full UK driving licence
- Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
- Good understanding of general maintenance and site duties
- Enhanced DBS on the update service is desirable, or willingness to obtain one
