We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Performing Arts Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Darlington on a supply basis for the 2026–2027 academic year. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and committed practitioner to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons in drama and/or performing arts. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering confidence, creativity, and a love of performance in young people.

The Role

  • Deliver high-quality Performing Arts lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum expectations
  • Contribute to school productions, performances, and enrichment opportunities
  • Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports all learners

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Performing Arts in a secondary setting
