The Education Network is currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 WJEC Criminology Lecturer to support a Sixth Form College in Stockton-on-Tees on a supply basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced Criminology teacher or lecturer looking for a part-time temporary role with the potential for an extension.
The role will involve:
- Delivering engaging Level 3 WJEC Criminology lessons
- Planning and delivering high-quality sessions appropriate for post-16 learners
- Supporting students with their coursework, assessment and examination preparation
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with the college to ensure continuity for learners
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience teaching Level 3 Criminology, ideally WJEC
- Relevant teaching/lecturing qualifications and subject knowledge
- Experience working with Sixth Form or post-16 learners
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to supporting students to achieve their full potential
