The Education Network is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Teachers for a range of schools across Sunderland and nearby areas. We have full-time and part-time opportunities available, covering EYFS through to Key Stage 2. Due to growing demand, we are offering a Guaranteed Pay Scheme for teachers who register with us.

We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers who have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective classroom practice. You will be responsible for lesson delivery, classroom management, and, where required, planning engaging lessons that inspire pupils to enjoy learning. Up-to-date curriculum knowledge is essential.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or an overseas equivalent.
  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour and classroom management skills.
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Be well-organised with strong time management abilities.
  • Plan and assess effectively to support pupil progress.

We offer a competitive salary based on experience. Our Durham office works specifically with schools across Durham and as well as this position, the Education Network have a number of day-to-day and long-term supply assignments.
