Learning Support Assistant - NewcastleWe are seeking a number ofLearning Support Assistantsto work in a post 16 setting. The role is to begin as soon as possible and is on a full-time ongoing basis with the potential of being made permanent.Key Responsibilities: ✅ Providing one-to-one and small group support to students ✅ Assisting with learning activities in and outside the classroom ✅ Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and learning difficulties ✅ Encouraging engagement and confidence in learningRequirements: ✔ Experience working with young people within the past 2 years ✔ A patient, supportive, and positive approach ✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills ✔ A passion for education and student development ✔ Fully enhanced DBS or a willingness to apply for one via ourselvesThe Education Network is committed to Safer Recruitment and recruits to Compliance + standards.
