Learning Support Assistant - NewcastleWe are seeking a number ofLearning Support Assistantsto work in a post 16 setting. The role is to begin as soon as possible and is on a full-time ongoing basis with the potential of being made permanent.Key Responsibilities: βœ… Providing one-to-one and small group support to students βœ… Assisting with learning activities in and outside the classroom βœ… Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and learning difficulties βœ… Encouraging engagement and confidence in learningRequirements: βœ” Experience working with young people within the past 2 years βœ” A patient, supportive, and positive approach βœ” Strong communication and teamwork skills βœ” A passion for education and student development βœ” Fully enhanced DBS or a willingness to apply for one via ourselvesThe Education Network is committed to Safer Recruitment and recruits to Compliance + standards.
