You will work closely with senior leaders, staff, families, and external agencies to improve attendance, support positive behaviour, and help create a calm, structured environment where pupils are ready to learn.

Requirements:

  • Pastoral Experience – Proven experience supporting or leading behaviour, attendance, safeguarding, or wider pastoral provision in a school or similar setting.
  • Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication with pupils, families, staff, and external agencies.
  • Behaviour and Attendance – A strong understanding of behaviour systems, attendance procedures, and the barriers that can affect pupil engagement.
  • Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Professional Commitment – A genuine commitment to improving pupil wellbeing, attendance, conduct, and long-term outcomes.
