Overview

SCHOOL HR & ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

Must have experience gained in a school or education setting and be able to achieve the required level of compliance to include an Enhanced DBS. This is a long-term role offered 4 days per week and could become permanent.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a busy HR environment handling a large workload.
  • Manage staffing processes to include recruitment, onboarding and school compliance.
  • Be the first point of contact for HR queries and communicate effectively as part of a team.
  • Confidently use IT and related technology.
  • Handle a high volume of phone work; strong communication skills are essential.
  • Prioritise key tasks for the senior leadership team and manage a large workload.
  • Help put processes in place to manage HR activities.
  • Work with complex data, log information and provide reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in a school or education setting.
  • Achieve compliance including an Enhanced DBS.
  • CIPD qualified or in the process of studying.
  • Capable of managing staffing processes to include recruitment, onboarding and compliance.
  • A good communicator; able to work as part of a team and as a first point of contact for HR queries.
  • Confident with IT and related technology; able to manage a large workload and prioritise tasks.
  • Experience dealing with complex data, logging information and providing reports.
  • Available to work 4 days per week with potential to become permanent.
