SEN Class Teacher (Main Scale /SEN 1 Allowance) Full Time | Start Date: September 2026

When you think SEN School you may think SEN or SEMH provision for pupils aged 4–16. But what do you actually know about the school? We are supporting this school by recruiting an SEN Class Teacher for a September start, the school are happy to be flexible for the right person and offer this role on a permanent or supply basis. This setting works to primary-style model across KS1 and KS2, supporting children with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Importantly they offer educational support and care within and beyond the school gates, not to mention a smile for every child.

The role:

  • Working as part of a great team teaching small classes across KS1 & KS2.
  • Planning lessons that differentiate for individual needs and learning capability.
  • Prioritising wellbeing, social and emotional health in the classroom.
  • Collaborating with the SLT to create a holistic learning environment where every child matters.
  • Enabling progress, recognising, and rewarding progress even if it is just with a smile.
