Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Music Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity in a supportive and achieving school environment? This is a large school currently seeking a talented Music Teacher to join a stable and successful Performing Arts department. This position is available for April 2025 and will run until the end of the academic year.
Position: Music Teacher (KS3/KS4)
Location: Walsall
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Until end of academic year
Salary: £175 - £250
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Music lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, ensuring coverage of the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Music department to share best practices and resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behaviour.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Music at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Music teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to the ethos and values of the college.
