Media Teacher A creative and well-resourced secondary school in Walsall is looking for a Media Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach a subject that inspires critical thinking, creativity, and cultural awareness, across all key stages including A-Level.Key Details

  • Rate: £175 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Key Stages: KS3, KS4 & KS5
  • Curriculum: Eduqas (Years 10 & 12), AQA (Years 11 & 13)

The RoleYou will be delivering Media Studies to students from Key Stage 3 through to A-Level, using both the Eduqas and AQA specifications. The role includes teaching core topics such as media language, representation, audiences, and industry. The school is equipped with modern technology, editing software, and creative tools to support practical project work. You’ll be joining a dedicated Arts & Media department with a strong track record of exam success.The CandidateThe ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent secondary teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Media Studies up to A-Level
  • Be familiar with both Eduqas and AQA specifications
  • Have a strong understanding of media theory and practical production
  • Be confident using digital tools, editing platforms, and media analysis techniques
