SEN Teacher - Special Educational Needs Teacher - Primary

This school is looking for an SEN Teacher who has previous experience teaching children with complex needs and Autism. A successful SEN Teacher at this school will be supportive, compassionate, and have a smile for every child. A passion for teaching children with special educational needs is essential for this role. You will be teaching classes of no more than 8 children, with most children having additional 1-2-1 support. Job Role
- Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons for children with a range of complex learning needs.
- Teaching a small class of primary aged pupils, with support from skilled teaching assistants.
- Working closely with the wider school team to implement EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom that supports communication, independence, and social development.
- Making learning fun, engaging and interactive for pupils the leadership believes that school should be a special place for every child.
- Contributing to the wider school community and whole-child approach to education.
