Are you ready to help lead a high performing SEND school that secures outstanding outcomes for pupils? We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who is an aspiring Headteacher to provide clear strategic leadership from day one. You will set direction, raise quality, and support creative education plans across the whole of the school. You will lead a skilled team, work with governors or the Trust, and build strong partnerships with families, health and social workers.

Permanent, immediate start. Pay Scale: L10 to L16, £65,000-£75,000 per annum. SEND School, Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set a clear progression plan and track impact each term.
  • Secure high quality teaching, assessment, and interventions.
  • Lead safeguarding and safer recruitment.
  • Oversee EHCPs, annual reviews, and provision mapping.
  • Embed positive behaviour support and strong attendance systems.
  • Manage budget, staffing, estates, and risk.
Qualifications
  • QTS and senior leadership experience in SEND or mainstream.
  • Impact on outcomes for pupils with SEND.
  • Strong knowledge of KCSIE, the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Confident leadership of people, budgets, and change.
