A good SEND school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced School IT Technician to join their team and support the day-to-day running of the school's IT systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a School IT Technician with previous school-based experience who wants to work in a well-resourced environment with excellent facilities. As an IT Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring technology is reliable and effectively supports both teaching and learning across the school.
Job Role:- Providing first-line and second-line IT support to staff and students
- Maintaining and troubleshooting hardware, software and network systems
- Supporting classroom technology including interactive boards, laptops and tablets
- Managing user accounts, permissions and access controls
- Assisting with the installation and rollout of new hardware and software
- Ensuring IT systems comply with safeguarding and data protection requirements
