A well-established special school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a permanent basis. As a Key Stage 2 Teacher, you will teach a small class of pupils with a range of needs, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties and additional complex needs. You will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants and a strong leadership team who value collaboration, wellbeing and professional development.
The Role:
- Teaching a small Key Stage 2 class within a special school setting
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across the curriculum
- Creating a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment
- Supporting pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants and specialist professionals
- Monitoring progress and contributing to EHCPs and individual support plans
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
