We have an exciting opportunity to join our Pastoral Team as a Lead for Behaviour and Culture at South Hunsley School and Sixth Form.
The working hours are up to 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional 44.5 hours per year, which enables you to attend team meetings and training and development that sits outside your normal working hours. You will also be required to work some days during the school holidays. Your actual salary will be £29,225.68 per annum, and this is paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.
What does the role involve?
Each day you will work under the direction of the Assistant Headteacher, support the strategic leadership and management of the school in the key areas of student achievement and pastoral support; contributing to a learning environment which is engaging and fulfilling for all students and fosters continuous improvement in the quality of education offered by the school.
Pastoral support is at the centre of everything we do at South Hunsley School. The role could be an excellent opportunity for those who are looking to work within the education sector and have a passion for supporting student’s within a school setting. It could also be an incredible opportunity for those who have previously coached, mentored, supported, guided, or advised students in another school, college or educational institution or within youth services.

What we are looking for?
We are looking for an individual who has previously worked within youth services or a secondary school setting or has experience of supporting, advising, guiding, coaching or mentoring young people.

Applying for the job
The Education Alliance Multi-Academy Trust was established in 2015 so that South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College could support the setting up of Hunsley Primary School, the East Riding’s first Free School. In February 2016, Malet Lambert School, an 11-16 school in Hull, joined the trust and the following year, Driffield School and Sixth Form joined as a sponsored academy. The Snaith School, an 11-16 school joined us in April 2019 and North Cave CE Primary School in November 2019. Howden Junior School joined us October 2022 followed by Wilberfoss CE Primary School in May 2023. Howden CE Infant School joined us in September 2023 followed by Naburn CE Primary School who joined on 1 October as a sponsored academy.
In addition to the ten schools, the trust also operates Yorkshire Wolds Teacher Training, the only Outstanding SCITT based in East Yorkshire, which is training a new generation of primary and secondary teachers in East Riding and Hull.
