Location: Multiple schools within The Education Alliance.

Contract type: Casual.

Responsibilities

  • Attend approximately four Local Governing Body meetings per academic year.
  • Visit schools to monitor activity and progress.
  • Hold school leaders accountable for education provision.
  • Scrutinise safeguarding, curriculum, standards, behaviour and exclusions.
  • Oversee personal development and support for vulnerable students, including SEND, Pupil Premium and PLC activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Must successfully complete a full enhanced DBS check.
  • Experience or interest in school governance acceptable.
