Responsibilities
- Attend approximately four Local Governing Body meetings per academic year.
- Visit schools to monitor activity and progress.
- Hold school leaders accountable for education provision.
- Scrutinise safeguarding, curriculum, standards, behaviour and exclusions.
- Oversee personal development and support for vulnerable students, including SEND, Pupil Premium and PLC activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Must successfully complete a full enhanced DBS check.
- Experience or interest in school governance acceptable.
