What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an individual who has a good standard of education including numeracy and literacy at GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent, demonstrable experience of working with young people in an educational setting and a good working knowledge of classroom management strategies.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK. Are you passionate about education and dedicated to making a positive impact on young people’s lives? The team at Malet Lambert School are looking for an individual to work as a Cover Supervisor who will play a vital role in supporting our pupils by ensuring they are provided with high quality teaching and learning or targeted support when a member of staff is absent or unavailable.
The working hours are up to 32 hours and 40 minutes from 8:25am to 3:40pm Monday and 8:25am to 3:30pm Tuesday to Friday during the school term. You will also be paid for an additional 32 hours 40 minutes per year to attend team meetings and training and development outside your normal working hours. This will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year so even when it is the summer holidays, you continue to receive the same payment that month.
