A day in the life of a Breakfast Chef at our hotel includes:

  • Assisting in preparing ingredients for various dishes, from chopping and slicing to marinating and portioning, to ensure each station runs smoothly.
  • Cooking breakfast and working alongside senior chefs in all sections, gaining hands-on experience and refining essential cooking techniques.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised workstation, following hygiene and food safety standards rigorously.
  • Helping with kitchen inventory by preparing ingredients, monitoring stock levels, and informing chefs when supplies are low.
  • Taking on basic cooking tasks, including making sauces, grilling, frying, and assisting with plating.
  • Participating in regular cleaning duties to ensure all equipment and surfaces are kept spotless.
  • Quickly learning and adapting to kitchen procedures, contributing effectively to a well-organised team.

What we need from you:

  • A genuine interest in cooking and enthusiasm for learning in a professional kitchen.
  • Some previous kitchen experience is a plus, but a willingness to work hard and learn is essential.
