We are seeking an experienced and caring individual who is passionate about working with children and committed to providing high-quality before and after school or nursery care for our pupils.
The post holder leads a team of early years practitioners and playworkers who create a warm, engaging space where children can learn, thrive and play.
Our wrap‑around provision consists of
- After School Club for both Nursery and Junior School pupils (age 2 to 11)
- An After School Activities Programme (mostly for P3‑6)
- Early Birds Club (from 7.45am – 8.30am)
This is a full‑time, term‑time only post and would be ideal for an organised and proactive individual with experience of working in a school setting.
The successful candidate would ideally be registered with SSSC or GTCS or be willing to register and undertake training in line with SSSC requirements.
There will be an element of hands‑on childcare when the children are in the service.
The post is available due to an internal promotion for the current postholder, and so is available from August 2026.
It is offered on a full‑time, term‑time plus 3 weeks basis.
Typical hours of attendance will be 10:00am – 6:00pm.
