Pay: $65,000 to $70,000 annually
Compensation is commensurate with experience and licensure.
Location: This position provides services across multiple community locations, including the Bedford Youth and Family Services Office and Bedford Public Schools.
What You Will Do:
- Provide comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the needs of children, adolescents, adults, and families.
- Deliver evidence-based individual, family, couples, and group therapy to individuals ages 5 and older through both in person and virtual appointments.
- Provide crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization services while collaborating with families and community partners to ensure appropriate support.
- Work closely with onsite clinicians, school personnel, and community providers to coordinate care and respond to urgent clinical needs.
- Develop treatment plans and connect individuals with additional behavioral health resources, including psychiatry, psychological testing, emergency services, and specialized treatment programs when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and clinical records within the electronic health record system.
- Participate in Town Staff Meetings, Edinburg Outpatient Staff Meetings, case consultations, and interdisciplinary team collaboration.
- Attend professional development opportunities to maintain clinical knowledge and support ongoing growth.
Who You Are:
- You hold a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field.
- Independent Massachusetts licensure (LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT) is preferred.
- You have at least three years of clinical experience providing behavioral health services to youth, adults, and families.
- You are experienced working with diverse populations and treating a broad range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, family conflict, and relationship challenges.
- You have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and organizational skills, and enjoy collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while also working independently.
- You have a strong understanding of community-based behavioral health systems and resources.
- You are flexible to work occasional evenings based on client and program needs.
- You have a valid Massachusetts driver's license and reliable transportation.
