The Psychiatrist will be a member of a self-contained interdisciplinary team which utilizes an assertive recovery-oriented outreach model to serve 80 clients. The psychiatrist will share clinical responsibility with the Team Leader, a licensed clinician, for developing and monitoring clinical treatment and supervising staff delivery of clinical services. This is a unique opportunity to be actively involved in all aspects of client treatment.
The Psychiatrist will:
- provide medical supervision to nursing staff
- staff training
- psychopharmacological treatment to PACT clients
- supportive therapy
- crisis evaluations
- consultation to families
- some administrative responsibilities
Outreach services provided in clients’ homes or other community locations as needed.
Who You Are:
- M.D. Board certified or Board eligible in psychiatry
- Licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts
- Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness required
- Knowledge of PACT model preferred
- Experience with Electronic Health Record preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Valid driver’s license required
