Ready to take your food service experience in a new direction?
Do you have experience working in a restaurant, café, or kitchen and love teaching others what you know? If you're looking for a change from traditional food service and want a role where your skills can make a meaningful impact, this could be a great next step.
The Edinburg Center is looking for a Café & Culinary Skills Coordinator to help lead Café Aroma, combining hands-on food service experience with coaching, mentorship, and community-based mental health services.

• Teach cooking, baking, cleaning, food preparation, and café skills to individuals participating in the program
• Train and support counselors, relief staff, and interns in cooking and café operations
• Develop weekly menus and introduce seasonal menu options
• Manage food and supply inventory, shopping needs, and the kitchen budget
• Help create a culinary training and certificate program for individuals served
• Lead social and interactive groups within the café
• Maintain food safety, Board of Health, and program standards
• Help grow Café Aroma and expand its lunch offerings
Who You Are
You may be a restaurant or food service professional who is ready to use your experience in a different way.
We’re looking for someone who:
• Has experience in food service, restaurant operations, or kitchen-style cooking
• Enjoys teaching, coaching, and working with others
• Has experience working with individuals with mental health or developmental disability needs
• Can manage menus, inventory, food costs, and a kitchen budget
• Is ServSafe Manager certified or able to obtain certification within the first three months
