This well established, world class Electronics manufacturing business works across a number of sectors, including Greentech, Medical and Aerospace and are committed to excellence, following internationally recognized quality standards. They’re now looking to recruit a Quality Manager, a Hybrid position based in Felixstowe, with occasional travel to their other site in Mildenhall. Reporting directly to the COO and managing a team of quality professionals, you’ll be responsible for the management of Quality Control and Assurance and the Quality Management Representative for certified standards held.

Responsibilities

  • Right first time, implemented on time to achieve world class standards.
  • Management of the investigation and implementation effectiveness of NCRs.
  • Compliance, governance and continuous improvement of BS EN ISO9001:2015, BS EN ISO13485:2016, FDA 21 CFR820, BS EN 9100:2018.
  • Lead by example in terms of positivity, conduct, communication, timekeeping, attendance, quality and productivity.
  • Overseeing the development, implementation, training and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Monitoring Regulations, by providing up to date understanding of regulatory requirements.

Experience

  • Extensive experience in compliance management within a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO9001, ISO13485, FDA 21CFR820, AS9100 standards and relevant audit knowledge.
  • Thorough knowledge of Electronics Manufacturing processes and components.
  • Appreciation of workmanship standards as defined by IPC.
  • Relevant experience or qualifications in Lean manufacturing principles and tools.
  • Proven team management skills with ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Ability to work under tight timescales and pressure, independently.
  • Educated to degree level in an engineering discipline.
