The role involves leading and managing all employment and people-related legal matters worldwide in the Group, including:
- Managing organisational change
- Shaping and drafting people-related processes and policies
- Managing employment disputes and contentious matters
- Providing legal advice on employment matters on a day-to-day basis
- Ensuring compliance with new employment laws and requirements
Responsibilities include:
- Working with senior management to inform and shape the Group’s people and employment strategy
- Managing employment litigation, disputes and contentious matters globally
- Developing and implementing employment policies and processes
- Advising on organisational changes
- Providing clear, high-quality employment law advice and support
- Advising on cross-border employment law issues
- Advising on employee benefit strategy and related vendor contracting
- Keeping up to date with relevant employment laws and regulations
- Negotiating and reviewing employment agreements and independent contractor arrangements
- Developing and leading training programmes for the People team and managers
- Advising on employee data subject access requests (DSAR) and other data privacy matters
Who You Are:
- Admitted as a lawyer in the UK or a relevant EU jurisdiction
- 5+ years post-qualification experience
- Ability to collaborate across a People team and business stakeholders
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional time management, planning, and organisational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven experience in relationship building
Work schedule: Open to 4 days per week (with flexibility on how this is structured).
Working Arrangements: The majority of our roles operate on a hybrid working pattern, with 3+ days office attendance required.
