The role involves leading and managing all employment and people-related legal matters worldwide in the Group, including:

  • Managing organisational change
  • Shaping and drafting people-related processes and policies
  • Managing employment disputes and contentious matters
  • Providing legal advice on employment matters on a day-to-day basis
  • Ensuring compliance with new employment laws and requirements

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with senior management to inform and shape the Group’s people and employment strategy
  • Managing employment litigation, disputes and contentious matters globally
  • Developing and implementing employment policies and processes
  • Advising on organisational changes
  • Providing clear, high-quality employment law advice and support
  • Advising on cross-border employment law issues
  • Advising on employee benefit strategy and related vendor contracting
  • Keeping up to date with relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Negotiating and reviewing employment agreements and independent contractor arrangements
  • Developing and leading training programmes for the People team and managers
  • Advising on employee data subject access requests (DSAR) and other data privacy matters

Who You Are:

  • Admitted as a lawyer in the UK or a relevant EU jurisdiction
  • 5+ years post-qualification experience
  • Ability to collaborate across a People team and business stakeholders
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional time management, planning, and organisational skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven experience in relationship building

Work schedule: Open to 4 days per week (with flexibility on how this is structured).

Working Arrangements: The majority of our roles operate on a hybrid working pattern, with 3+ days office attendance required.
