Weβre partnering with a rapidly growing international online retailer to find a Senior Operations Executive who can help optimize their supply chain, drive efficiency, and enhance customer experience. Based in their London office, this role reports to the Global 3PL Manager and will be responsible for ensuring stock is in the right place at the right time across multiple regions.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven logistics environment and is ready to make a real impact. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Optimising Reverse Logistics & Rework Operations β Ensuring smooth and cost-effective returns and refurbishments.
- Supporting Strategic Growth & Regional Expansion β Partnering with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to drive fulfillment strategy across new and existing markets.
- Enhancing Operational Efficiency & Performance Monitoring β Tracking key metrics and driving data-led improvements in supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- π Data & Performance Analysis β Monitor and report on KPIs such as 3PL & courier performance, rework completion times, and returns backlog to improve efficiency.
- π Process Improvement β Identify bottlenecks in existing workflows and implement both quick fixes and long-term optimisations.
- π Logistics Expansion & Optimisation β Assist in launching new 3PLs, refining fulfilment strategies (B2C, Amazon SFP/FBA), and scaling regional logistics efforts.
- π Refurbishment & Inventory Management β Collaborate with logistics providers and internal teams to create effective rework schedules and forecast spare part needs.
- π€ Cross-Team Collaboration β Work closely with customer service, product, and finance teams to streamline operations and enhance the customer journey.
- π― Becoming a Logistics Expert β Utilise data, problem-solving, and automation to continuously refine operations and boost efficiency.
Who We\’re Looking For
Our client is looking for someone with a strong background in operations and logistics who is ready to take on an exciting challenge in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain management, ideally within a fast-moving eCommerce, retail, or 3PL setting.
- Experience working with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and a solid understanding of fulfilment operations.
- A strong analytical mindset β someone who enjoys working with data, KPIs, dashboards, and Microsoft Excel to drive decision-making.
- A process improvement focus, with a track record of identifying and implementing efficiency-boosting initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between internal teams and external partners.
- A proactive and resilient attitude, thriving in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
