We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and dedicated full-time Teacher of Food Technology to join our successful and supportive school from the second half of the autumn term. Situated in Halesowen, our oversubscribed school is proud of its strong reputation for high standards, excellent outcomes, and a genuine commitment to helping every student achieve their full potential.

You will be joining a team of seven experienced and supportive colleagues, alongside two part-time Technology Technicians who provide valuable assistance with practical lessons and preparation, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality teaching.

At Key Stages 3 and 4, we offer a broad and engaging curriculum including Food Technology, Graphics, Resistant Materials, Art Textiles, Fine Art, and Engineering. Food Technology is a popular and well-supported subject within the school, offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher to make a real impact.

This role would suit an experienced teacher seeking to contribute to a successful and ambitious department and as such, a recruitment and retention payment of £3,000 per year for 3 years is being offered. The payment will be reviewed with the Headteacher after the three-year period.

The successful candidate will teach Food Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 and play a key role in the continued growth and success of the subject.
