We are looking to expand our Safeguarding team and are recruiting internally for a dedicated additional School Safeguarding Officer, to support our existing Safeguarding Officer and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in ensuring the highest standards of student safety and welfare. The role is open to substantive staff only.
The role requires a dedicated person to meet the high standards in relation to safeguarding practice within school, being one of the initial points of contact for external agencies and providing day to day guidance and support for staff with safeguarding concerns.
To be successful in this post, the role requires extensive safeguarding experience, writing and submitting MARFs and Early Help assessments, liaising with the Virtual School, and contributing to CP and CIN plans.
The Earls High School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will carry out pre-appointment checks including DBS and will disqualify any applicant where we consider the outcomes to be unsatisfactory.
