Neighbourly Brands is seeking a Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in supporting our finance function and helping drive business performance through accurate reporting, financial insight, and strong financial controls.

As a key member of the finance team, you'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, delivering timely management information, ensuring compliance with statutory and tax requirements, and partnering with stakeholders across the business to support informed decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading the month-end close process and producing accurate monthly management accounts
  • Delivering insightful financial analysis and KPI reporting across sales, profitability, working capital, and productivity
  • Managing weekly cash distribution across the network
  • Maintaining robust financial controls and balance sheet integrity
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities
  • Coordinating year-end reporting and acting as a key contact for external auditors
  • Overseeing VAT, PAYE, and statutory tax submissions
  • Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency

What We’re Looking for

  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar senior finance role
  • Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA (final stages) or completed AAT qualification
  • Strong technical accounting and financial control knowledge
  • Advanced Excel skills and excellent Microsoft 365 proficiency
  • Experience with D365 Finance & Operations is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both financial and non-financial stakeholders
  • Experience within a services or contracting environment would be beneficial
