This is an entry level role which will launch your career into the world of Logistics. You will provide general administrative support to the Logistics department extending across supply chain through to the different logistical channels; Wholesale, Franchise and US. The role will encompass the support of existing tasks within the team such as raising sales orders, updating schedules, creating customs documents, and taking responsibility for new tasks as the department processes evolve.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, methodical in their approach, patient and have excellent attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the logistics channels in raising sales orders on the Dune ERP system (Island Pacific).
  • Create packing lists, export invoices and other necessary documentation as required by the team.
  • Maintain import/export data and documentation.
  • Analyse logistics data as appropriate.
  • Monitor compliance within the import/export process.
  • Assist in monitoring third party freight and logistics providers' performance.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required by the department.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • A background or awareness of supply chain/logistics is desirable, as well as experience of working with ERP systems (IP).
  • Microsoft experience.
  • Customer focused.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Time management skills.
