About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT & Business Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives within our retail organisation. This role will drive technology‑enabled business transformation, ensuring successful delivery of strategic programmes that enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and commercial performance. The ideal candidate combines strong project leadership expertise with a deep understanding of end‑to‑end retail operations across both physical and digital channels (UK & international markets).

Responsibilities

  • Define project objectives with senior stakeholders and translate business needs into clear scope and measurable outcomes.
  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, risks, and change controls are effectively managed.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocations, and governance documentation.
  • Act as the key link between business teams and IT, coordinating both internal teams and third‑party partners.
  • Oversee implementation of core retail systems (POS, ERP, OMS, CRM, e‑commerce) to support business growth.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, provide regular leadership reporting, and drive alignment through workshops and steering forums.

Experience / Skills Required

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in retail, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Proven track record managing cross‑functional large IT and business transformation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of retail systems and omnichannel operations.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
