This role owns marketplace performance across a portfolio of key digital partners, with accountability for delivering sales growth, visibility and conversion. You’ll drive results through a combination of commercial levers, campaign execution and listing optimisation, ensuring products are competitive, visible and converting effectively across all channels. This is a hands‑on, commercially focused role for someone who has already delivered results in a marketplace environment, managing content as a core performance lever.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Monitoring performance of digital partners against sales and profit plans, identifying opportunities across visibility, conversion and profitability, and taking action to deliver against them.
- Driving sales while maintaining awareness of margin and operating costs, balancing top-line performance with overall contribution.
- Using partner tools, dashboards and insights to understand performance drivers and where to focus effort.
- Planning and executing key trading moments, ensuring products are set up correctly to support performance during campaigns and seasonal activity.
- Building strong relationships with digital partners and staying close to how each platform operates in practice.
- Prioritising activity based on impact, focusing on areas that will drive the most meaningful performance improvement.
- Working closely with in‑team Merchandising and Operations to ensure execution is aligned and issues are resolved quickly.
- Partnering with the Buying and Merchandising teams to align on ranges and trading priorities.
- Supporting the Merchandiser with planning and forecasting – feeding in channel level insight - ensuring plans reflect differences in how each channel operates and their respective strengths.
- Collaborating with Marketing teams to ensure marketplace activity reflects the broader brand message while still delivering on commercial objectives.
- Owning the quality of product listings across all digital partners, ensuring they meet best‑in‑class standards.
- Ensuring all listings are complete, accurate and aligned to platform requirements, including attributes, taxonomy and imagery, in collaboration with Digital Partnerships Operations Team.
- Identifying and resolving issues impacting performance including suppressed listings, missing information or poor categorisation.
- Continuously improving how products are presented to maximise visibility and conversion.
- Working with relevant teams to prioritise and deliver updates that will improve listing quality and performance.
- 3+ experience in marketplace trading with responsibility for delivering performance - specifically with hands-on experience with Zalando Partner Program.
- Strong understanding of how marketplace performance is driven in practice, including what impacts visibility, conversion and overall results.
- Familiarity with marketplace tools, platforms and ways of working.
- Proven track record of improving performance through trading and content optimisation.
- Exposure to marketplace media (ZMS, AMS).
- Highly analytical with the ability to turn insight into action.
- Able to manage and prioritise effectively across multiple channels, products and trading moments.
- Confident working cross‑functionally in fast‑paced environments.
