About the role

Join us as a key driver of growth and performance in our Outlet business. Working closely with the Head of Retail and Senior Area Manager, you'll lead and inspire Area Managers and Support Managers to exceed sales and profit targets across all sites.

Your role will focus on:

  • Proactively grow our Outlet's business through strategic partner relationships and future-focussed opportunities.
  • Empowering teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain top-tier retail standards.
  • Strategic influence: Spend time at CSO shaping trading decisions and driving business success.
  • High-impact store visits across UK & ROI: Prioritise flagship sites and partner with Support Managers to strengthen host relationships.

1 year Maternity Cover position

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive all sales activity across the outlet business through vision, passion, inspirational leadership and motivation.
  • Meet and exceed expectations on all aspects of P&L management across the whole outlet estate.
  • Alongside the Outlet Area Support Managers build awareness of competitor activity locally, regionally and nationally and bring to the table information and ideas to challenge and improve product and service offerings.
  • Drive both a trading and brand elevation mentality in terms of VM.
  • Work alongside the Business Operations Manager and all relevant CSO departments to ensure operational efficiencies in stores to deliver higher sales, lower costs and enhance productivity.

People

  • Inspire, motivate and coach a team of Outlet Area Support Managers enabling them to develop and carry out their role to the very best of their ability.
  • Guide additional Outlet Area Managers through regular communication and quarterly visits.
  • Positively and proactively manage current key external partner relationships in all sites to enhance the brand position by maximising the potential for current and future business opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively cross function internally across CSO teams influencing to ensure all systems, processes and efficiencies are in place to ensure all sales, operational and exceeding customer experience opportunities are met.

Brand and Product

  • Work closely with the Buying & Merchandising department to share all relevant knowledge including team and customer feedback on all product collections.
  • Proactively influence ranging for future seasons through forming and communicating sound views based on facts and data.
  • Ensuring the brand standards are aligned with Core and seeking ways to constantly keep VM in stores exciting and commercial.

  • Demonstrable success gained in a field role within Outlet landscape.
  • Experience of leading large teams in a multi-site environment.
  • Influencing and communication skills.
  • Capacity to establish credibility and authority quickly.
  • Exemplary sales skills and standards.
  • A sound understanding of all financial information with the ability to interpret and action change.
  • Demonstrates excellent commercial & visual standards.
