The Dune Group operate a single Distribution Centre (DC) in the UK, which services the demand from the UK and EU Retail estate, International franchise partners, Wholesale customers and all e-commerce orders. Stock is received at the DC from our global suppliers and will be stored and distributed in line with customer orders and merchandising plans. Additionally, the DC has a very active Quality Control department dealing with not just quality checks, but also remedial activities. The site holds a Customs Warehouse Authorisation, with Dune Group having AEO accreditation.
About the role
We are recruiting for two Fulfilment Managers, one for each shift pattern:
- Early Shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm
- Late Shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm
As a Fulfilment Manager, you will lead our Retail and International warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient flow of stock and delivery of fulfilment activities in line with business, customer and regulatory requirements. You will have overall responsibility for warehouse operations and supporting administration functions, driving high standards of service, quality, compliance and cost performance. Reporting into the wider Operations team, you will lead and develop a management team consisting of three Warehouse Supervisors and one Admin Supervisor, with responsibility for the Distribution Centre operatives and admin teams. You will play a key role in workforce planning, operational performance, continuous improvement initiatives and team development. Working closely with colleagues across Logistics, Customs Compliance, Customer Services and Head Office functions, you will help deliver a customer-focused, high-performing fulfilment operation that consistently meets business objectives and customer expectations.

You will have strong leadership skills and are passionate about developing people, improving processes and delivering operational excellence. You are comfortable working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and can confidently make decisions in a dynamic distribution environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the end-to-end fulfilment operation across Retail and International warehouses.
- Oversee inbound, stock receipt, picking, packing and dispatch activities to achieve KPI and SLA targets.
- Ensure warehouse administration activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage store distribution and transportation activities in line with business requirements.
- Ensure customer orders are fulfilled in accordance with Retail, Wholesale and Franchise customer expectations.
- Lead, coach and develop Warehouse Supervisors and the Administration Supervisor to deliver outstanding performance.
- Set objectives, monitor performance and identify development opportunities for team members.
- Plan labour resources effectively, including recruitment and agency labour requirements.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to improve productivity, service and efficiency.
- Monitor operational performance metrics and productivity measures.
- Maintain stock integrity and inventory accuracy across all fulfilment operations.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
