About the role

Join our E-Commerce team to drive financial performance of Dune website by identifying actionable opportunities for improvement through analysis of websites KPIs, customer behaviour and engagement

The Ecommerce Analyst will generate insight to provide a well-rounded view of sales drivers with analysis on product, stock, marketing channels, promotions, customer metrics and website engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting and Insight

  • Monitor and present insight on website KPI’s to optimise sales opportunity and onsite conversion.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure that all in-house analytical packages are correctly configured to provide robust metrics and insights.
  • Deliver innovative insights and actionable outputs.
  • Continually analysing the customer journey and shopping behaviour, identifying opportunities to optimise the website performance
  • Review industry trends and developments and work with team to determine suitability and potential ROI

Advanced Analytics & Customer Centricity

  • Responsible for analysing the user journey, website features and content
  • Drive effective customer segmentation and profiling to produce qualified, relevant and timely communications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to optimize conversion through a world-class customer experience.
  • Promote the ‘voice of the customer’ across all Dune London business units.

Operations

  • Analyse the online sales channels and operating processes to deliver actionable insights to improve key KPIs
  • Work with the teams to drive forward an optimisation programme across the online business
  • Responsible for analysing the ROI and benefits of any proposed change
  • Highlight anomalies, investigate causes and recommend courses of action
  • Work seamlessly with other members of the Ecommerce & Marketing team and provide support down to campaign level.

Expertise

  • Maintain a strong level of knowledge of all analytical and insight related activity and to be aware of industry developments and innovations at all times.
  • Contribute to the overall mission of the department.
  • Constantly look for new opportunities and regularly make suggestions as to how things can be improved.

EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Thorough understanding of web data analysis from previous roles with at least two years’ experience and a proven track record of success and delivery
  • The ability to translate data into actionable insights and engaging presentations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Outstanding presentation skills and the ability to show complex issues in an engaging way.
  • Commercially minded and extremely driven.
  • Experience of using specialist digital/web tools and software packages (e.g. Content Square, Monatate)
  • Experience of using specialist marketing research tools.
  • Excellent Knowledge of SQL and Power BI.
  • Experience with enterprise analytical tools (e.g. Coremetrics, Omniture, Google Analytics etc.)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience in working with, and making sense of large data sets, including unstructured data.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Highly organised self-starter with a high degree of initiative.
  • Strategic thinker able to collaborate with a team whilst multitasking and prioritising
