About the role
To support the Outlets Buying and Merchandising team in all elements of administration that facilitates the process flow of product into the business and partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily Admin
- Support Merchandiser by maximising sales potential through use of reports and responding to requests.
- Support the Junior Buyer on a day-to-day basis with administration duties for Outlet Buying team.
- Communicating across departments as a key point of contact and support.
Order Management
- Maintain the critical path and liaise with Suppliers when needed to identify any issues or changes and communicate to team effectively to resolve.
- Size and raise Purchase Orders and ensure consistent communication across the team.
- Constant maintenance of Purchase orders, always ensuring accuracy.
Sample Management
- Ensure all samples are chased, managed, labelled and in the correct location.
- Management of samples daily, setting up for key meetings with management and external partners.
Intake Management
- Update delivery schedule reports on a weekly basis.
- Assist with any line lists and communications for store transfers.
Promotions
- Compile line lists for promotions which are to be shared with the business and pricing teams.
- Update store promotional calendar.
Trading
- Pull together weekly Monday trade packs and line details.
- Update daily sales reports.
Commercial awareness
- Keep up to date with current and future trends to assist with trend boards for new ranges and be aware of competitor activity.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
- An understanding and interest in Excel.
- The ability to build good relationships.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Professional approach, accurate, honest, tactful, self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Able to work as part of a wider team.
- Takes responsibility and ownership for driving own development.
- A passion for Buying and Accessories.
